The CNMI Office of Planning and Development (OPD) is happy to share the latest updates on the Garapan Revitalization Project. Please view the graphics attached for detailed information on current progress and upcoming activities.
OPD advises drivers and pedestrians to continue exercising proper caution when passing through the area, particularly at all intersections. Please be aware of construction workers and equipment in the area, crosswalks, stop signs, one-way signs, and the 15 MPH speed limit.
The Garapan Revitalization Project broke ground in November 2022 and is made possible through an $11.2 million grant award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). Through close coordination among OPD, the firms working on the Garapan Revitalization Project, and other government agencies with development projects in Garapan, construction work for the Garapan Revitalization Project remains on track towards its anticipated completion date of November 2024.
