ANNOUNCEMENTS | November 1, 2024

Here is your Garapan Revitalization Project (GRP) update for the weeks of October 20-27 and October 27- November 3, 2024. As of November 1, the project is approximately 88% complete.

Inclement weather last week temporarily paused paving activities in the Garapan Core. As of November 1, all of Plumeria Avenue and Coconut Street and half of Date Street is paved.

The Garapan Revitalization Project broke ground in November 2022 and is made possible through an $11.2 million grant award from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA). Through close coordination among OPD, the firms working on the Garapan Revitalization Project, and other government agencies with development projects in Garapan, construction work for the Garapan Revitalization Project remains on track towards its anticipated completion date of November 2024, weather permitting.

OPD thanks the businesses in the Garapan Core and the entire community for your patience and understanding over the past two years as we continue our efforts to improve the area.
