ISWMT hosts EPA partners during CNMI visit

Recently, the Inter-Island Solid Waste Management Taskforce (ISWMT) hosted representatives from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and toured key solid waste sites and facilities on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota; engaged with various solid waste stakeholders; and worked together to further build out the draft CNMI Comprehensive Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (CISWMP) and the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality's (BECQ) five-year Solid Waste Management Program.
The ISWMT thanks the EPA for their continued, critical role in advocating for the CNMI and supporting the ISWMT's commitment to chartering a sustainable path forward for solid waste management, recycling, composting, and beyond for the CNMI.
