Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan and Tinian Zero Waste Pilot Project Requests for Proposals – Submissions due by 4/19!

The Office of Planning and Development (OPD) in partnership with the Department of Public Works (DPW) and the Mayor’s Offices of Tinian and Rota is soliciting proposals for the drafting and finalization of a comprehensive solid waste management plan for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). This Request for Proposals (RFP) is RFP-OPD-062.

The Office of Planning and Development (OPD) in partnership with the Department of Public Works (DPW) and the Office of the Mayor of Tinian is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to develop a Zero Waste assessment, pilot project, and Management Plan recommendations specific to “Zero Waste” for current and projected future waste streams for the Municipality of Tinian and Aguiguan. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is RFP-OPD-063.

Together these projects will help the CNMI meet its goals to support more sustainable production and consumption patterns and reducing recyclable waste entering environmentally compliant management facilities by 50% by 2030.
