Complete Streets Resources

In this video, guest presenter Maria Fernanda Gutierrez of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) goes over a recent study conducted on achieving health equity for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islands communities, with a focus on ensuring equity in the planning and design of streets, sidewalks, and all other related aspects of the Built Environment.

In her guest presentation, Gutierrez goes over the purpose of the study, the methods used, highlights from interviews with AAPI thought leaders working in urban planning, and possible policy, system, and environmental approaches when integrating equity for AAPI communities in infrastructure projects.
