Meet the Taskforce
The Garapan Revitalization Taskforce has been reconvened and is a focal area of socio-economic
revitalization needs and next steps for Saipan.
The Plan aims to reinvigorate the
Garapan Revitalization Task Force composed of businesses, residents and government agencies
collaborating to alleviate some of the many challenges facing the area.

OPD Director Uludong shared Garapan planning updates regarding ongoing activities and proposals that have been submitted and is being worked on, OPD lead planner Erin Derington shared updates regarding the PDAC task force meeting. These include discussions of the 17 sustainable development goals and how the goals was divided into their respective taskforce based upon the built and natural environment, and social economic drivers. During this meeting the PDAC also discussed new business and provided updates.
