Public hearing on Saipan for the CNMI Comprehensive Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan— November 21, 2023

The CNMI Office of Planning and Development (OPD) on behalf of the Inter-Island Solid Waste Management Task Force (ISWMT) invites you to a public hearing on November 21, 2023 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center to share your thoughts, voice your concerns, and learn more about the CNMI Comprehensive Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (CNMI CISWMP).

The CNMI CISWMP charts a sustainable path forward for the CNMI's solid waste, spanning the development, operations, and maintenance of compliant landfilling, recycling, and composting facilities for Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and the Northern Islands. It includes supporting activities such as education and outreach, conservation, and more.
